Driving Directions
From Hay-on-Wye, exit the main Oxford Road car park (the one with the primary school & library), turn right - this is the B4348. Continue down the slight hill, past the dentist on the right, and follow the road around a bend to the right in front of A1 Electrics, where the road is signposted to Bredwardine & Peterchurch.
After about 200m is the Wales-England border and a sign welcomes you to England, announces the county of Herefordshire and your arrival in Cusop. Immediately after this signpost, take the right-hand turning, signposted Cusop Dingle and directing you towards St. Mary's Church.
Head up Cusop Dingle for about 600m (1/3 of a mile) until you see a national speed limit sign (black diagonal stripe), then turn immediately left up Church Rd, where it is again signposted for St. Mary's Church and Trewern Outdoor Centre.
100m up the road is Thirty Acres, but don't take the first left turn, head up the hill a further 50m and take the second left turning at Lansdowne. Head down into Thirty Acres; Elmsleigh is the third house on the right with the open gravel car park.
Please beware of SatNavs that may direct you up Church Lane (signposted Michaelchurch, Longtown from Hardwicke Road). This lane is not suitable for most cars. Always use Cusop Dingle as directed above.
